The minister was speaking in Luanda at the inauguration ceremony of the new National Director of State Budget, Eliana Santos, and other leaders, including the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Okavango National Management Agency (Anagero), David Kinjica , and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Luanda Railways Company, Sebastião Joaquim.
"The times we live in are full of challenges", said Vera Daves, pointing out the "least good time the Angolan economy is going through".
She stressed that the watchword remains “consolidate”, especially on the expenditure side, and improve the performance of public finances.
“If you can't spend less, at least spend better. Angolans have to feel every penny we spend, we can't spend it for spending, ”said the minister.
