Maintenance work leaves part of Luanda without light on weekend

Corrective maintenance work on the Camama, Futungo and Viana substations will leave residents of much of Luanda province without electricity during the morning of Saturday and Sunday.


According to a statement from the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE), between 6 am and 2 pm, the municipalities of Viana and Cazenga and the urban districts of Ingombota and Maianga, as well as part of the municipality of Belas, of the urban districts will be affected Sambizanga, Palanca and Samba, and hospital units.

ENDE calls on its clients to “have the utmost understanding”, stressing that the works are part of the service improvement contracts, which aim to guarantee greater supply capacity, quality and reliability in the distribution of electricity in Angola.
