TAAG enters into agreement with Air France to repair Boeing 777 fleet

The agreement was announced during the African Aviation MRO Africa event that took place last week in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. TAAG now relies on 'Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance' to support the maintenance of Boeing 777 aircraft.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola by the national flag carrier, the agreement is valid for five years, including "support for the pool and repair components, as well as an MBK (Main Base Kit) for its aircraft fleet of five Boeing 777-300 and three Boeing 777-200".

TAAG also states that this component support agreement has the symbolism of being the first signed between TAAG and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, which it hopes will be a reflection of a long-term partnership, which has been built between both entities.

This five-year agreement will ensure reliable and efficient maintenance of our Boeing 777 fleet, which is crucial to our operations.
