Among the main tourist sites visited by tourists who came aboard the Norwegian Sky are the National Slavery Museum and the Luanda Marginal.
Visitors were dazzled by the country. This was the case of the Spanish couple Juan Sánchez and Aléxia Sánchez, who called the people of Angola "very warm".
"The city is beautiful and the Angolan people are very warm," said the Barcelona couple, speaking to Jornal de Angola.
"It's our first time here and we were very well received. Angola seems to be growing. We intend to return as soon as possible, to explore the natural beauty for longer", they added.
Brazilian Juleide Porto said that she joined this ship because she had always been curious to explore Africa and feel the vibrant energy of its people, writes Jornal de Angola.
The cruise arrived in Angolan waters around 8am, where it remained docked until around 5:30pm. Coming from Santo António (São Tomé and Príncipe Island), it had on board a total of 1936 tourists of different nationalities: Portuguese, Germans, Brazilians, Chinese, Americans, among others.
It is worth noting that, between March and December this year, six cruise ships passed through the ports of Luanda and Namibe with more than 7500 visitors.
According to José Cabral, general director of Travelgest, frequent visits by tourists constitute a relevant point for the country's tourism, promoting its economic growth.
