FAMMA, in a statement to which VerAngola had access, pointed out that the national athletes "shone in the finals of their respective categories".

This was the case of Anderson Gouveia, who beat "the Montenegrin Lazar Radonjic in the final, in the 93 kilos category".

"Manzo Diatuka also stood out by overcoming the host Nikola Kukulicic in the final of the 77 kilos category", says the federation.

Another highlight was Joveth Santana, who won gold by beating Petar Klikovac (Montenegro), in the 83 kilos category.

The silver medals were won by athletes Daniela Mandanji, Isaac Manuel and Manaceu Ngonda.

"In addition to the sporting results, the event was also marked by an important tribute to Armando Carlos Diogo, better known in the world of MMA as 'Scott'. The President of the Angolan Federation of Mixed Martial Arts was recognized for the exceptional work he has developed, both in the world and in Africa, being a fundamental figure for the growth of MMA in Angola and on the continent", says the note.
