Hélder Pitta Grós spoke to the press on the sidelines of the Consultative Council of the Attorney General's Office, which began this Thursday in Luanda and ends on Friday.
"We are working and we are confident that we will achieve good results. Cooperation with some countries, we feel, is improving a lot, particularly Dubai", said Hélder Pitta Grós.
Speaking in October, in Lisbon, the Attorney General of the Republic said that the judicial authorities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have already received all the necessary documentation to hear the former president's daughter, José Eduardo dos Santos, accused of 12 crimes.
The process involves her management at the head of the state oil company Sonangol between 2016 and 2017, but Isabel dos Santos claims her innocence and says the process is political.
The businesswoman, who lives in Dubai, has expressed her willingness to be heard in a process in which she is accused of 12 crimes associated with her management, between 2016 and 2017, at Sonangol.
This Thursday, Hélder Pitta Grós said that there have been "improvements" between the authorities of the two countries.
"We feel that there are a lot of improvements in the way they were seeing the process and now, as they are analyzing the exchange of information between us, I believe we are going in the right direction", he said.
