According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to which VerAngola had access, the meeting also served so that the two entities could discuss "possible exchanges of high-level UN visits to Luanda", as well as Angolan candidacies for various positions within the United Nations system. Those responsible will also have exchanged impressions on administrative matters of the organization.

Also according to the same document, UN Angola and its local partners are working towards the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development objectives and Agenda 2023, which are aligned in the National Development Plan of Angola.

The Resident Coordinator's Office encompasses all United Nations System organizations dealing with operational activities for development, regardless of their formal presence in the country.
