Christa Manuel is the first woman to win the 'Estrelas ao Palco' contest

Contestant Christa Manuela - who played the singer Edmázia - was crowned the winner of 'Unitel Estrelas ao Palco', after winning the final gala of the contest, held on December 17th and broadcast on ZAP Viva.

"Gabriel Tchiema" and "Simi" were the other two finalists in the program's grand finale.

Christa's victory was the consecration of the most consistent competitor, the one who in all the galas was always the most voted.

The winner receives a new car, the recording of an EP, a year's subscription to the ZAP premium package, an EP with six songs and respective video clips, health insurance annuity and a monetary value of five million kwanzas, the be paid for one year.

The gala started with five finalists: Edmázia, Gabriel Tchiema, Simi, Dulce Pontes and Cynthia Erivo. The last two were eliminated in the first rotation of performances. Among the three finalists, luck smiled on Edmázia, who thus becomes the new revelation of national music.

Since it is produced by ZAP Viva, this is the first time that the contest has been won by a woman. Past winners were Anderson Mário, Alberto Sebastião and Adriano Tchitacumula.

The contest looks for new talents in the music scene. Evaluates vocal potential and stage performance through the imitation of renowned national and foreign singers. In its current format, it is content produced and broadcast by the ZAP Viva channel.
