The responsible for the project, said in a statement to Angop, that he decided to create this platform to respond to the difficulties that students have in accessing consultation and support material. The platform also aims to respond to the lack of bibliographic works and physical spaces for university students to use to study.
Admitting that information is the source of knowledge, Patrício Geremias explained that he decided to take advantage of digital media to foster the quality of information that reaches people.
The platform will provide content appropriate to the Angolan reality, he said, adding that the "Ombala do Saber" can be used by all those who want to strengthen their knowledge and promote human and intellectual development in Angola.
"There will be available on the website articles that aim to disseminate and promote science," he explained. The information made available on the platform will be based on the academic curricula of Angolan universities, he added.
According to Angop, the project was distributed by several social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, among others).
