The Morro do Sombreiro is a mountain that is in Benguela. After a stone lighthouse was built in 1969, that place became a tourist reference.
The way to reach the hill is composed of trails in the middle of nowhere, ideal for the more adventurous. When you reach the top you will find a 180 degree view of the sea.
At the top of the hill, on the right, you will have a view of the whole coast that goes from the beach of Santo António, follows the Morena beach and ends on the sides of Catumbela. On the left you will see the tip of Baía Farta.
