According to the health authorities, of the 112 new infections, 20 were registered in Huambo province, 12 in Cuando Cubango, eight in Cabinda, two in Zaire, one in Benguela and 68 in Luanda.
Franco Mufinda reported that the deaths concern two men, 79 and 87 years old, in the provinces of Benguela and Luanda.
For now, the country registers a total of 15,251 positive cases, 6969 of which are active. Among the active, three are in critical condition, 11 in severe condition, 172 moderate, 176 light and 6607 asymptomatic. Angola also has 350 deaths and 7932 recovered.
In the last 24 hours, 2873 samples were processed, 112 of which were positive, with a daily positivity rate of 3.2 percent. To date, 238,066 samples have been processed, of which 15,251 are positive.
