Inauguration of the 'Pensador' School Complex will integrate around 3000 Ramiros students into the education system

The governor of Luanda, Ana Paula de Carvalho, this Wednesday inaugurated the “Pensador” School Complex, located in the urban district of Ramiros. This new infrastructure will enable the integration of around 3000 students into the education system.

"With the inauguration of the School Complex called 'Pensador' with the number 2031, this Wednesday morning, by Luanda governor Ana Paula de Carvalho, 2943 students are entering the education system, but classes are due to start on the 3rd de Janeiro next", can be read in a note made available on Facebook by the Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL).

In the act, Ana Paula de Carvalho asked the 53 teachers placed to "exercise their activity striving for professionalism, civic and moral values, in order to guarantee an excellent teaching experience".

Budgeted at 178 million, 364 thousand and 420 kwanzas, this school complex was built in a period of 12 months, within the scope of the Integrated Plan for the Intervention of Municipalities.

According to the statement, the school complex is capable of housing 2943 students, in three periods. It comprises "20 classrooms, a room for discipline coordination, a principal's room, a deputy director's office, a psycho-pedagogical office, a secretariat, a teachers' room, a computer room, an administrative room, a multi-sport court and a canteen school".

Before being rehabilitated, the infrastructure comprised a total of 14 classrooms, however, with the works, six new classrooms were added, making a total of 20 classrooms.
