According to the tournament's league table, the Angolan – who currently wears the 1.º de Agosto jersey – scored a total of 23 goals in the competition.
Right after the Angolan, on the podium, according to the table, are Sandra Erlingsdottir, from Iceland, and Karolina Kochaniak, from Poland, who scored 16 and 14 goals respectively.
The 'Posten Cup', which took place in Lillehammer, Norway, according to a note from the Angolan Handball Federation (FAAND), is part of "the preparation for the World Championship", scheduled from November 29th to December 17th.
In the tournament, the country lost its games against Norway (32-24) and Poland (30-33), having won against Iceland (27-24).
According to FAAND, on November 29, "the technical team, led by coach Vivaldo Eduardo, and the athletes continue their trip to the Norwegian city of Stavanger, where they will complete the first phase of the World Cup, placed in group D alongside France, Slovenia and Iceland".
"At the event, Angola has the ambition to improve the 25th place obtained in its last presence in Spain 2021. The group is made up of 17 players, four of which are debutants", adds the federation, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
