Federation without money for national team expenses in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup

The vice-president of the Angolan Football Federation José Carlos Miguel said this Wednesday, in Luanda, that the organization is out of money to cover the national team's expenses in the qualifying phase for the 2026 football World Cup.

:

"For this qualifying operation for the 2026 World Cup, the Federation is crawling, it is completely lame, we are trying our best to be able to participate in this double journey", he said.

Angola, coached by the Portuguese Pedro Gonçalves, will face the teams of Cape Verde, on November 16, and Mauritius, four days later, in games from the first and second rounds of the World Cup 2026 qualification.

The 25 players called up will concentrate in Portugal, starting on Sunday, to begin their preparation.
