Sodiam sells diamonds again. Twenty special stones go up for auction

The National Diamond Trading Company of Angola (Sodiam) will hold a new diamond auction. A total of 20 special stones will be put up for bidding, the process of which will be carried out electronically.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, Sodiam informs that the viewing sessions will take place between the 4th and 7th of December, at its headquarters in Luanda, while the bidding process, "which will be done electronically only, ends on the 8th of December, at 10:00 local time".

The auction – organized by the company Trans Atlantic Gem Sales, in Luanda – is aimed at "customers registered in the company's database", and who have "expertise in the marketing of special stones", and the lots will include a total of 20 stones", the note reads.

According to the statement, the 20 diamonds are divided into thirteen special stones of +10.80 carats from Uari production, four special stones of +10.80 carats from Lulo production, two special stones of +10.80 carats from Somiluana production and one special stone of +10.80 carats from Chitotolo production.

"From the batch of 20 stones, one weighing 235.47 and another weighing 208.78 carats from Lulo stands out", the statement also states.
