As part of the commemorations of its 30th anniversary, the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola, in partnership with the Kalu Association and the consultancy firm Isabel Martins, presents the book and the traveling exhibition "Lugares InCORPOrados".
The launch of the book and the opening of the exhibition will take place simultaneously at the Memorial Dr. António Agostinho Neto (MAAN), on the 25th of November at 5 pm.
Admission is free.
The exhibition will be open until January 31, 2022, and can be visited at MAAN from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
In this project, which has photographs by Rui Tavares, 16 dancers from four generations of the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola were photographed together with 16 buildings and places in the city of Luanda, evoking the multiplicity of social and affective ties that are established between the people and the places they inhabit.
