In a conversation with Mago de Sousa, the musician stated that "my time has come, together with the young people of my generation, to contribute to social emancipation". The artist continued, "across the entire national territory, youth constitutes more than half of the population, representing the hope for the advancement and development that the Angolan people want".
The artist recognizes the importance of youth in the profound changes that Angola needs, emphasizing that the construction of a new nation will only be possible through the participation of all entities in our society, in particular young people. All this because, points out the artist, the union of efforts also includes the hope that exists in each young person, in seeing progress as one of the main characteristics of the future of Motherland.
Author of hits such as Carolina, Silêncio, 4th Republic and Mãe Pátria, Mago de Sousa also pointed out that the high unemployment rate
that the country registers, leads us to work hard and jointly - State institutions, businessmen, civil society, religious entities, non-governmental organizations, etc. -, with the purpose of, from there, promoting the stabilization of our economy and, consequently, pursuing the path of full employment of the country's productive forces. To do this, we need to realize that the main protagonists of socio-economic changes are young people. And these changes occur through the active participation of young people in the country's political, economic, cultural, social and civic life.
It is also worth noting that the association that the musician embraced, goes through the implementation of the "Positive Attitude" project. This project was
idealized together with the artist "Laton Cordeiro": it is an initiative of young people for young people, through direct dialogue under a patriotic and inclusion narrative, where the real problems that afflict young people will be openly discussed and, consequently, steps will be presented to solve them.
