Gaming Institute extends application deadline for social games

The Games Supervision Institute (ISJ) has decided to extend the deadline for the submission of applications for the restricted tender for concession contracts to operate social games until 14 December 2020.

The ISJ initially defined this Friday, November 27th, as the end of the phase of submission of applications under this limited by prior qualification, launched last September 28th.

In a communiqué, which Lusa had access to, the body justifies the extension of the deadline for submission of applications according to the interests expressed by the candidates and the volume of requests for clarification from the competitors.

The public entity has extended to the same period, that is, until December 14th, the deadline for the presentation of requests for clarifications.

The organism, which supervises the social games in the country, explains that the measure aims to "ensure the flexibility of the deadlines so that the competitors can properly prepare and submit their applications".

The conclusion of the concession contract for the operation of social games, recalls the institute, should be effective with the candidate who presents the "best technical and financial conditions".

According to the agency, headed by the Ministry of Finance, the pieces of the tender procedure are available for public consultation, upon written request, "free of charge" at the ISJ.

The Institute of Gaming Supervision recalls that entities interested in submitting applications are subject to payment of a fee of 50 million kwanzas or the equivalent in foreign currency.
