Duetos n'Avenida moves from the stage to TPA screens

The well-known project Duetos n'Avenida, which has already brought together several names of national music, will debut on television this Saturday, the 21st. The bet is on Public Television of Angola (TPA).

According to Figueira Ginga, executive director of Zano Jovem Produções, the idea of bringing 'duets' to television already existed but was anticipated due to the restrictions imposed by the covid-19 pandemic on cultural shows.

In this way, Duetos n'Avenida presents itself in biweekly programs included in TPA's programming grid. The first episode will be dedicated to the singer Carlos Burity, who passed away last October.

Also according to the official, the idea of taking the project from the stage to television aims to explore - in addition to music - other elements of national culture. "Our feeling is to be bringing more than just a show to the audience, but a cultural product with added value in the national musical mosaic", he said, quoted by Angop.

The 'duets' have their debut scheduled for this Saturday, and the next two programs are scheduled for the 5th and 19th of December.

Known to the public since 2018, the Duetos n'Avenida project will now choose the best concerts of the initiative to be shown on television. After their debut with Carlos Burity and Patrícia Faria, Paulo Flores and Yuri da Cunha follow, and two weeks later, Heavy C and Gutto.
