Ten Angolan plastic artists will perform at Galeria Tamar Golan with “Paz e Amor”, a collective exhibition to be inaugurated next November 7th. The objective of this initiative of the Fundação Arte e Cultura is to obtain financial resources that allow to meet the needs of medical treatment of Mestre Kapela, whose state of health inspires care.

The exhibition will be open to the public on the 7th and 8th of November, and can be visited between 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm on both days, at the contemporary art gallery of the Fundação Arte e Cultura, on the island of Luanda.

Mestre Kapela is currently interned in a private clinic in Luanda and, in solidarity with the artist's situation, Fundação Arte e Cultura mobilized to promote a collective exhibition of ten artists, reverting the funds collected from the sale of the works to cover the artist's medical treatment needs.

In addition to the efforts of the artists, the Endiama and Luanda Medical Center clinics joined this chain of solidarity, having assumed the coverage of the first needs with medical treatment.

“We are facing 20 artists who were moved by Mestre's difficult situation. They will exhibit 20 works of art, presented in different techniques. The proceeds from the sale of the works will go directly to Mestre Kapela's account, ”said Naama Margalit, general director of the Fundação Arte e Cultura, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The artists participating in this unique and unprecedented exhibition are Don Sebas, Kubudi Eli, Toy Boy, Thó Simões, Cândido Pascoal - P´scó, Luís Damião, Muambi Wassaki, Sebá, Luís Diogo and Jardel Selele.
