Rapper Prodígio's social project has already revealed more than 75 young talents ranging from music to chess

The Prodigia-Te Cultural Center - rapper Prodígio's first social project - celebrated two years this Thursday, saying that to date it has supported more than 75 children and young people to develop their talents. The celebration was in an atmosphere of celebration and gratitude and brought together the center's beneficiaries with several guests.

“We celebrate two years of achievements and achievements that fill us with pride. Despite the difficulties, we have the blessing of remaining open, working and growing gradually, achieving positive results and generating a strong and positive social impact”, highlighted the Angolan musician, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The space, located in Prenda, the neighborhood where Prodígio grew up and where he always returns, has been the home and incubator for the talents of children, from the age of eight, and young people who want to see their skills and talent developed and improved, in the areas of music, chess, reading and jiu-jitsu.

“This year we have tried to focus on chess, and we have had athletes standing out and winning the competitions they participate in. We hope to be able to take them to compete in international tournaments, starting next year”, said the artist.

In chess, in which more than 25 athletes participate, more than 150 games were played in various competitions, achieving more than 70 victories, with emphasis on winning 1st and 2nd place in the under-12 category in the Children's Chess Championship. Youth, in celebration of Children's Month (June), organized by the Angolan Chess Federation.

Planned to be replicated in several neighborhoods and provinces across the country, the singer plans to open another Prodigia-Te Center in Luanda, next year, and obtain its own space for the exclusive practice of jiu-jitsu.

“We want to continue growing and expanding our actions, generating a positive impact on the community and contributing to the development of Angola. The positive feedback from those responsible for the changes in behavioral terms, and having the opportunity to help young autistic people in the social integration process, continue to be our greatest motivations and rewards”, concludes Prodígio.
