Shopping Fortaleza will promote, on October 19th, two workshops celebrating World Breast Cancer Day, as part of the 'Pink October' awareness campaign.
The workshops are free and aim to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
Therefore, the first workshop, called 'Pregnant women', will take place at 10 am, in partnership with Mecofarma. Aimed mainly at pregnant women, the workshop will address the specific care to be taken during pregnancy.
The second meeting, 'Awareness Workshop', will take place at 4pm. This session will be attended by Albertina Manaças, an oncologist at the Angolan Institute for Cancer Control (IACC), who will address the importance of early diagnosis and prevention methods.
These workshops are open to the public and no prior registration is required.
