The Litteragris Movement will hold, on October 19th, the presentation of the Irene Guerra Marques Interdisciplinary Studies Center (NEIGUM).
The ceremony will be at the União dos Escritores Angolanos, at 9:30 am.
The nucleus pays homage to the philologist and professor, Irene Guerra Marques, who stood out for her contributions to the Angolan literary and cultural field.
Coordinated by writer and essayist Cíntia Gonçalves, this nucleus aims to promote female literature, through the exploration of women's literary production and issues that transcend gender, reflecting on themes that encompass the human condition and resistance.
At the event, the nucleus, which is made up of 10 members, will present its main goals, including the creation of literary training aimed at young writers, the publication of studies and literary works by women, as well as the implementation of seminars and workshops in partnership with academic institutions and beyond.
The launch of the nucleus, which coincides with the ninth anniversary of the Litteragris Movement, is free and open to the public.
