The contracts were signed with Sotrans, Paufil, Cooperativa, Jobita, Rosalina Express, SKDG and Impala AJCF, says a statement sent to VerAngola.
According to the note, the signing ceremony - which took place this Monday at the Hotel Serra da Chela, in Lubango - was attended by the ANTT administrator, Alberto Quengue, representing the president of the Board of Directors of the aforementioned body and staff of the Transport Office, Provincial Transport Office, Traffic and Urban Mobility of Huíla.
The president of the Executive Committee, Mário Nsingi Pedro, said "that with this formal act, the new remuneration rules for operators come into force, which aim fundamentally to guarantee the provision of services that will effectively bring significant improvements to our citizens, who depend of public transport for their daily mobility, reiterating ENBI's support to operating companies in order to contribute to increasing their technical and organizational skills", reads the statement.
Therefore, the note adds, among the 13 clauses, the contract obliges operators to install "equipment for data collection and transmission" relating to the electronic ticketing system, "the installation and regular operation of which must be validated by the promoting entity (ENBI), before the effective start of accession".
ENBI "is obliged, under the terms of the aforementioned clauses, to guarantee the continuous updating of the operators' register; to provide, against a unit charge, electronic tickets for each of the drivers, collectors and inspectors, in order to control and allow the operation of the Electronic Ticketing System", the statement also states.
