In a message addressed to his counterpart Xi Jinping, João Lourenço paid tribute to China's “exemplary” trajectory in recent decades, which allowed the country to become “an unavoidable protagonist of the international community” and “committed to building a global security architecture”.
He also reiterated Angola's commitment to continuing to cultivate “solid relations of friendship and solidarity” between the two countries, “for the benefit of realizing the common desires of our populations for peace, harmony and shared development”.
