Edvânia Soares elected Miss CPLP Angola 2023

The representative of the province of Huambo, Edvânia Soares, was elected Miss CPLP Angola 2023, whose election gala took place last Saturday, at the Hotel Epic Sana.

With winning the title, the winner of the competition will carry the country's colors across borders: Edvânia Soares will represent the country, in April of next year, in Portugal, at the CPLP gala, which concerns an international competition in which the representatives of the countries that are part of the CPLP, writes Angop.

Quoted by Angop, Edvânia Soares said that, during her mandate, she will dedicate herself to developing activities aimed at preserving the environment, especially with regard to the oceans.

According to Miss CPLP Angola's Facebook page, at the gala, the Cuanza Sul candidate, Luema Bengui, "was elected as the Goodwill Ambassador".

Among the winners at Saturday's gala, Deugracia Veiga (representative of Luanda), Carlota Cipriano (Lunda Norte), Marcela Kissanga (Uíge), who won the titles of Miss Ecology, Miss Influence and Miss Ubuntu, respectively, stand out.

The representative of Benguela, Noémia José, won the title of Miss Photogenic, while Djamila Barbosa, a candidate from Bengo, was elected Miss Sympathy.

Also noteworthy is Benvinda Felisberto (Bié) who "was chosen as the representation of the best province" at the gala.
