"Research and development of sustainable technologies in the civil construction sector will be the opening theme" of this second edition, says a statement sent to VerAngola.
According to Ricardo Rocha, general director of Sika Angola, "civil construction is known for its significant environmental impact, but, in Angola, the situation shows changes and a positive trend", and "the event also aims to present technologies in this sense".
"At Sika, we are investing in research and innovation to offer construction solutions that not only meet the needs of the present, but also protect the environment and future generations," said the official, quoted in the statement.
Organized by the Angolan company Sika, the event will "bring together all construction players in Angola for a dialogue about the future of the sector, which is increasingly sustainable", says the note.
The Sika Summit will also feature a round table with the theme "Innovation and Quality: Towards a more sustainable future", in which "members of various entities directly or indirectly related to construction" will be part of the panel, which will be moderated under the responsibility of journalist and economist Carlos Rosado de Carvalho.
"The Sika Summit Angola arises following the need to bring together all parties interested in the topic of construction in Angola and to discuss some issues that are extremely important for the future of civil construction in the country", completes the note.
