According to the epidemiological bulletin of the health entity, the province of Luanda registered the highest number of new cases (417), followed by Huambo (44), Cuanza Norte (18), Cuanza Sul (15), Malanje (14), Uíge (14), Huíla (10), Cabinda (seven), Zaire (six), two cases in the provinces of Cuando-Cubango, Cunene and Namibe, and Bengo and Bié with one case each.
The 11 deaths were reported in the provinces of Luanda (eight), Huambo (two) and Malanje with one death.
During this period, the laboratories processed 7404 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 7.5 percent. The cumulative points to 1,035,718 processed samples with a positivity rate of 5.8 percent.
