Tárcio Costa fell in love with the world of information technology from an early age. He started taking his first steps on Youtube and in 2017 decided to go ahead with the creation of Digital Move, a 100 percent digital company that allows the public to request the issuance of prepaid virtual cards, among other services, without having to leave the comfort of his home.

Three years ago with the company in operation, the young man made it known that the turnover has already reached four million kwanzas. Digital Move, which employs more than 170 people, was incorporated in Portugal and currently also operates in Angola.

In statements to Forbes magazine, the Angolan revealed that the company has been a real success: per month they receive about 120 requests to create virtual cards. In addition to this service, Digital Move also allows sending currency to any European country in 24 hours with payments in kwanzas, meticais or rands, as well as has a service of music distribution in virtual stores, agencies of artists' carts, design, advertising and music production.

Tárcio Costa, who is in the 11th year of the Science and Technology course in Lisbon, also made it known that the management of the company is done with the help of his father. The work occupies five hours of his day, and the remaining free time is used to practice other kind of activities such as reading or martial arts, he revealed.

About the covid-19 pandemic, Tárcio Costa says he was surprised with the growth of his business: "What happened was surprising for us. People for being confined adhered more than we expected, since they diverted their forms of consumption to digital. In short, there were only gains during this phase, it was the peak of Digital Move in terms of adherence to cards".

As for the national market, the young man complained about the lack of opportunity for good partnerships: "Many investors who like the project and realize that they have legs to walk, want everything for themselves and end up losing great ideas and business opportunities", he indicated.
