According to the ambassador, who was speaking this Thursday at the end of the visit, in Moçâmedes, the European country owns the Port of Antwerp, very important for that country, which could become useful to help Angola to promote the growth of its ports.

Cited by the Angolan newspaper Jornal de Angola, he also highlighted that the country may come to help the Namibe province to grow and develop, admitting that that European country, other European Union countries and the United Nations Development Program consider that Namibe is an extraordinary province.

The cooperation of the two countries should also include a strengthening of trade relations, and a focus on mining and agriculture, he said, adding that the European Union "will, in coming years, give priority to vocational training.

"When visiting this province, I asked the governor what the key institutes of this action should be. Finally, we talked about a very important sector, which is somewhat interconnected, which is biodiversity, the Iona National Park and the promotion of sustainable tourism", he added.
