The ceremony will be under the theme "17 September, with Neto's ideals, let us build a strong and dynamic economy".
Filipe Zau, Minister of Culture, will preside over the main event in the city of Dundo.
According to the ministry, the celebrations for this date will be held throughout the country, as well as in Angolan diplomatic and consular missions until 25 September.
Agostinho Neto was born in Icolo e Bengo on 17 September 1922 and died in Russia on 10 September 1979.
It should be remembered that, a few years before his death, Agostinho Neto became the country's first president after having proclaimed National Independence on 11 November 1975.
