According to the Chairman of the Executive Board of Caixa Angola, the festival is a "mixture of sounds" and an "embrace of cultures" that will provide "a unique and memorable experience".
"This mixture of sounds and this embrace of cultures provides us with a unique and memorable experience, reinforcing the role of the 'Caixa Fado Festival' as an important driver of cultural exchange", said João Plácido Pires, Chairman of the Executive Board of Caixa Angola, quoted in a statement sent to VerAngola.
According to the statement, the festival, which reaffirms itself as "an iconic event" to promote and celebrate "cultural and musical diversity", is "more than a musical show", also assuming itself as "a point of artistic dialogue that unites two continents, promising to transport spectators to unique emotional spaces with a unique experience".
The festival is promoted by Banco Caixa Geral Angola, which has high expectations, both regarding the performance of the musicians and the public's turnout, given that "with just one week to go before the event, there are only a few tickets left, and a full house is already guaranteed".
"The 'Caixa Fado Festival' is a moment of musical celebration and an important catalyst for the growth and development of music and musical ties between artists and cultures", the statement also states.
