The agreements initialed with the three educational institutions - Agostinho Neto University, Catholic University of Angola and the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Tecnologias e Ciências (ISPTEC) - aim to create a cooperation program for technical support within the scope of development and energy production, scientific research and human capital training, according to a statement from ANPG.
According to Paulino Jerónimo, president of the Board of Directors of ANPG, cited in the press release, cooperation between the Angolan concessionaire and educational institutions aims to bring the job market and available staff closer together, but also consistent support for scientific research to support the national oil sector.
The agreements were signed on the first day of the fourth edition of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference, which began this Wednesday and brings together world leaders from the oil sector in Luanda.
