Known as 'Petit Le Mans', this is a 10-hour race that takes place on the Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia. According to Jornal de Angola, it uses the rules established for the 24 Hours of Le Mans by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest.
Next weekend's event marks the 25th edition of the competition, with Rui Andrade being the first Angolan rider to participate in the circuit with more than 4000 kilometers in length.
At just 23 years old, Rui Andrade shares the number eight Tower Motorsport LMP2 car with Louis Deletraz and John Farano. The Angolan team currently occupies the fourth position in the championship, being just 11 points away from the lead, and it is still possible to dream of the title.
