Petro de Luanda qualifies for the last qualifying round of the 'African Champions'

Petro de Luanda, coached by Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos, beat the Black Bulls, from Mozambique, 2-1, and qualified for the last round of access to the group stage of the African Football Champions League.


Meleque, at nine minutes, opened the scoring for the Mozambicans, and five minutes later, the Angolans restored equality through Gilberto, and Tiago Azulão, at 28, sentenced the result.

In the 1st leg match, in Mozambican territory, Angola's Petro de Luanda had won 3-0.

In the last round, Petro de Luanda will face the winner of Sunday's clash between Otoho d'Oyo, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Cape Town City, from South Africa.

This Sunday, for the same competition, 1.º de Agosto drew 1-1 with Red Arrows FC, from Zambia, after winning 1-0 in the latter's redoubt in the 1st leg match.
