A note from the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security, cited by the Jornal de Angola, reveals that this measure is part of the provisions of paragraph 3 of Article 6 of the National Holiday Law (Read No. 11/18).
Thus, between September 10th and 16th, civil servants will work an extra hour and a half to cover the suspension of activity on the 18th.
The holiday of September 17, which concerns the Day of the Founder of the Nation and National Hero, is celebrated next Thursday.
The communiqué also indicates that workers who work in shifts are not covered by the "bridge".
