Alliance Française reopens media library and Espaço Campus Angola

After a forced interregnum, as a result of the onset of the covid-19 pandemic, the Alliance Française de Luanda media library reopens this Thursday, October 1st.

:

The space is both a reading place and a resource center where you can read the French and Angolan press, consult or order books, CDs and DVDs in French. Consultation is free, registration is required for the loan.

In a statement sent to VerAngola, the institution adds that for students of French courses taught there and university students, a “Student Library” was created to support them in their learning and to improve their knowledge of French and French-speaking cultures.

"French teachers can find educational resources in our pedagogical section", they add.

For students interested in attending higher education in France, Alliance Française proposes the 'Espace Campus France', where it guarantees advice, guidance and information on access conditions.

Another feature is the 'Espaço Juventude', which has magazines, comics and books for children and teenagers. "This space aims to encourage discovery and the pleasure of reading, and also helps children who study French to deepen their knowledge of French through reading," adds the note.

Taking into account the biosafety measures by which the country is governed, access to the media library will be limited to six visitors.
