According to a statement from the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Women's Promotion, to which VerAngola had access, the appointment of the new secretary took place this Tuesday.
"The new Secretary of State replaces general Lúcio do Amaral, appointed by the President of the Republic to perform the duties of Secretary of State for the Protection of Strategic Objectives", the ministry also reported.
Until this appointment, Dina Mayimona held the position of Director of the Technical Unit for Monitoring and Supervision of the Integrated Programme for Local Development and Combating Poverty at the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Women's Promotion.
It should be noted that at the end of June, the Head of State restructured his auxiliary bodies, creating the position of Secretary of State for the Protection of Strategic Objectives, to which he appointed general Lúcio do Amaral.
Until then, the general held the position of Secretary of State for Social Action, which is now being assumed by Dina Emiliana Mayimona.
In recent times, the President has made some changes to the Executive. One of the highlights was the dismissal, in July, of Dalva Ringote from her post as Minister of State for Social Affairs, which was then taken over by Maria do Rosário Bragança, former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
The Head of State also appointed Paula Regina Simões de Oliveira to the Ministry of Higher Education in July.
