The exhibition Les visages de la francophonie – "Os rostos da francofonia" will be inaugurated on 22 August.
The inauguration will begin at 6:00 pm at the Alliance Française de Luanda.
Photographer Dralton Máquina will be present.
After the inauguration, the exhibition will be open to the public until 5 October.
Visits are free and can be made between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
The Alliance Française de Luanda is participating in the global project Inside Out, which concerns an artistic initiative that aims to highlight individual and collective stories through large-scale photographic portraits. The theme is "Faces of the Francophonie" and aims to celebrate the students, teachers and staff who, every day, dedicate themselves to learning, teaching and promoting the Francophone language and culture in Angola.
The photographs from this exhibition will be used in the selection of French photographer JR for the exhibition "Les visages de la francophonie" for the major Francophone summit, to be held on 5 October.
In Luanda, the choice was to show, through the lens of Dralton Máquina, the people who make the Alliance come alive.
