Executive approves support plan for people with albinism

The Government approved this Wednesday, in the Council of Ministers, a measure that aims to speed up the process of granting tourist visas to Angola. The ultimate objective is to boost the sector's activity and increase revenue collection for the country.

In the presence of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the Government approved the measure included in the economic agenda, as well as in the package of measures to stimulate the national economy, contemplating an economic tendency and not just migration.

The Government clarified that the main purpose of this action is to promote tourism and trade, while guaranteeing the creation of jobs in different sectors of the economy.

The G20 countries, among which are Australia, Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, Japan, USA, etc., will benefit from this simplification, in a first phase. and the European Union.

The Support and Protection Plan for People with Albinism was also approved by the Council of Ministers. The Executive has established the main sectoral tasks in various domains, with a view to supporting, protecting and fulfilling the rights and interests of people with albinism.

According to a government statement to which VerAngola had access, the Executive is committed to increasing the level of supply and use of basic and primary education and health services, promoting social inclusion, implementing socio-economic support programs, among other social conditions.

In the transport sector, a regulation was approved that governs the activity of a workshop for road equipment and related installations.

The norm arises from the need to implement the measures of Act number 15 of the SIMPLIFICA 2.0 project, to simplify the procedure for licensing this activity and promote the integration of these services.

Within the framework of foreign policy, the Executive approved the Agreement by Exchange of Notes between the Governments of the Republic of Angola and Japan for the implementation of the economic and social program to strengthen the demining sector and promote cooperation in other areas.
