Speaking at the end of the meeting, Ahmed Bin Abbulazizi Kattan also took the opportunity to announce that his country's government will open an embassy in Angola.
"I informed the President that the Guardian of the Sacred Places, the King of Saudi Arabia, instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to open an embassy in the Republic of Angola as soon as possible", he said, quoted in the statement.
Among other aspects, the "special envoy conveyed the greetings of the King of Saudi Arabia and the Crown Prince to President João Lourenço", having also highlighted "the importance of mutual cooperation in various sectors", adds the note.
The adviser to the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia also announced that Saudi Arabia will host, in November, the Saudi Arabia-Africa Summit and the Arab World-Africa Summit.
