GPL launches more than a dozen routes with 60 buses

The capital's public transport will be reinforced with new routes and 60 new buses, which will start operating as of this Wednesday, August 17th. The new media will circulate on 13 routes.

The information was provided by the director of the traffic and mobility office of the Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL), who, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), said that the municipality of Belas will have the route Ramiros/Barra de Kwanza, with four Angoreal buses, as well as the Benfica/Ramiros route, also with four Angoreal buses.

"In the municipality of Talatona, we will have the Circular/Shopping Avenida, with five conventional buses from the Macon company", he added.

He also mentioned that in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi there will be the Mercado dos Correios/Mutamba (five Macon buses) and Luanda Sul/Rotunda do Camama (five Angoreal buses) routes.

"In the municipality of Luanda, we will have the Vila do Gamek/Palanca route, with five conventional buses from the Angoaustral company," he said, adding that in the municipality of Viana there will be the Calumbo/Zango 0 route, with five Angoreal buses.

Cazenga will have routes 5.ª Avenida/Largo das Escolas (five buses from Angoaustral) and Kikolo/Hospital Municipal do Cazenga (five buses from Angoreal).

The official, quoted by RNA, also mentioned that the municipality of Cacuaco will have the Sequele/Zango 0 routes, with five buses from Viação Cidrália, and Vila de Viana/Sequele, also with five buses from Viação Cidrália.

"In the municipality of Icolo and Bengo, we will have the Vila de Catete/Estalagem route, five buses from the Angoreal company", he informed, concluding that in Quiçama there will be the Cabo Ledo/Barra de Kwanza route, with two Angoreal buses.

"In the near future, another 92 conventional buses will be launched, in new routes also in all nine municipalities that make up the province of Luanda", he added, quoted by RNA.
