Kibabo opens store number 34 in Talatona and creates 50 jobs

The Kibabo group opened, this Wednesday, August 31, another supermarket in the country. Located in Talatona, in Luanda, this is the group's 34th establishment, with an investment of 200 million kwanzas and employment for 50 young people.

The most recent Kibabo occupies an area of 600 square meters, located in one of the condominiums in the Camama district.

According to Angop, the new supermarket had an investment of 200 million kwanzas, having generated 50 jobs, which were filled by young people who, among other functions, perform positions such as cashiers, cleaning and stockers.

Speaking on the occasion, Carlos Rodrigues, the company's operations director, quoted by Angop, revealed that the group has in its plans to reach around 2000 jobs aimed at young people, with the opening of six more supermarkets by the end of this year, thus completing a total of 40 stores in the country.

In addition, the official informed that the company's intentions also include the expansion of the network to other provinces, as of 2023. This start-up is expected to begin with Benguela, writes Angop.
