According to a statement sent to VerAngola, this international brand intends to expand and take its products to other areas of the capital.
"'Operation Adidas' in our country begins at Nova Vida with an elite event. An expansion is also planned that promises to take the brand's products to other locations in the capital", the note reads.
Alex Kamal, responsible for Garmoka Investimentos, spoke about the opening of at least four more stores.
Cited in the note, the official also highlighted that "Angolans have always had a very strong connection with Adidas, which has a very large segment of fans in Angola" and that "the time has finally come for the country to have an official offer of products of this brand".
The note also mentions that the arrival of this brand in the country generated 57 direct jobs, being "in line with the commitment of Garmoka Investimentos to provide access to products of a differentiated brand and with a unique positioning".
Adidas belongs to the Adidas Group, which also owns the Reebok brand and is based in Germany.
