"IGAPE on Wednesday, 18, provided the clarifications provided by the Negotiation Commission responsible for conducting the Public Tender for the Transfer of the Right to Operate and Manage the "Kero" Hypermarket and Supermarket Network, owned by the Zahara Comércio, S.A. group, under the terms of Point 5 of the respective Procedure Programme, which are available on IGAPE's website: www.igape.co.ao," a statement sent to VerAngola said.
The public tender intends to transfer the right to explore and manage the Kero supermarkets to a private company, in a ten-year contract, without an option to buy.
According to the note, the tender includes 12 stores, of which eight are located in Luanda and four in the provinces of Benguela, Huíla and Huambo.
National and international investors can participate in the contest. "Those interested should send their proposals by 3.30pm on 3 September," the statement said.
