Paulo Gaspar, president of the Agro-livestock Industrial and Commercial Association of Huila (AAPCIL), said that the response by national businessmen was good and that the representation is diversified.
"Fortunately the businessmen responded en masse, particularly businessmen from Huíla, Cunene, Namibe and Cuando Cubango, but we also have companies that came from Luanda, Huambo and Benguela," he said.
Speaking to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the official also made it known that besides the national companies there are foreign representations at the fair: "We have an Italian company, four Portuguese companies, one Namibian and two South African companies".
Paulo Gaspar was satisfied with the affluence of companies that will participate in the event.
The director of the integrated economic development office, Manuel Machado Quilende, hopes that the event will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and thus stimulate the economy of the province and the country.
The Expo Huila starts this Wednesday and lasts until the 15th. The event will take place in the city of Lubango, Huila province.
