With the motto "Don't give a ride to the coronavirus", this initiative promoted by the National Association of Taxi Drivers of Angola (ANATA), wants to make the disinfestation of transport a regular activity.
In a statement to the Angolan newspaper Jornal de Angola, Rafael Inácio, president of ANATA, admitted that public transport "is a means with a high probability of contagion of the disease" and for that reason decided to "trigger this campaign".
This project is a way to collaborate with the Government in order to mitigate the disease: "As a social partner of the State, we decided to join this cause, in partnership with a company of cleaning and disinfection services, which will spray in all blue and white vehicles, even before the beginning of work activities, in order to avoid the spread of the virus and safeguard the greater good, life", he stressed.
