According to a document published on Unitel's website, the contest, called Unitel Go Challenge, is aimed at all entrepreneurs in the country as well as all angolan entrepreneurs living abroad.
Interested parties may participate individually or in groups, which may consist of up to five elements. In a first stage, the competitors will have to send a prototype of their startup, which can be a mobile application or a website.
The first phase of the Unitel Go Challenge, which includes the delivery of projects, is open until the 24th of this month. Until that day, competitors can send their prototypes to gochallenge@unitel.co.ao.
From the projects sent, nine will be selected to participate in Unitel Bootcamp.
The final phase of the contest is scheduled for October. It will be through a television ceremony that the winner will be announced.
The winner will receive a prize of four million kwanzas, the possibility to participate online in WebSummit 2020, up to five laptops, one year of free telecommunications, publicity in Unitel's communication channels and partners and one year of follow-up with professionals from the operator.
