It is worth noting that exhibitor participation at this year's edition increased compared to the previous edition, which had 1707 companies.
According to Angop, four pavilions have been set up, measuring 2000, 3000, 8000, and 40,000 square meters, all covered, as well as a 160,000-square-meter covered area.
Occurring in the year Angola celebrates half a century of independence, FILDA brings some new features, including a name change: after 39 editions, FILDA has been renamed the Luanda International Fair to the Angola International Fair. Last month, when the event was presented, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguêns, justified this change by stating that, due to the new political-administrative division, the event is now geographically located in the province of Icolo e Bengo, hence the name change.
Other new features of this edition include the Angolan culture hall, which will feature paintings, handicrafts, and other exhibits, as well as a pavilion dedicated exclusively to the automotive sector.
Tickets cost 4000 kwanzas, and children under 12 are free to enter the event, which will feature companies from various sectors, such as commerce, industry, and more.
In addition to exhibiting companies, products, and services, the event also features lectures, conferences, and workshops, among other activities.
