The arrival of the buses – recently purchased with the aim of improving interprovincial services and also in the capital – to the country will take place this year, coming from China, said the CEO of Macon, in statements to Angop.

According to the manager, with this purchase the company will move "into a new era".

"With this acquisition, we will move into a new era, eliminating the difference in buses by class, as all passengers have needs during the journey", he pointed out, referring to the fact that it is necessary to meet demand, given that the company transports more than 10 thousand people per day throughout the country.

The CEO of Macon and the president of the National Youth Council (CNJ), Isaías Kalunga, held a meeting this Thursday at Macon's headquarters, with the aim of establishing a partnership in the field of youth employment. As a result of this partnership, 100 job vacancies were created for members of the organization.

On the occasion, Isaías Kalunga – in statements to the press, quoted in a CNJ statement, to which VerAngola had access – highlighted the creation of jobs.

"It is important to highlight that as a result of this partnership we can declare in the first instance that from Macon the CNJ will receive 100 job vacancies that will be filled by young people, and of these 100 job vacancies we will give priority to young patriots who have contributed to building an increasingly better Angola", he said.

According to the official, the vacancies will only be available to members of the organization who have a driving license, adding that in the coming days they will select and forward the candidates to the company.

"We are very pleased with this partnership with Macon. In the coming days we will select and forward the candidates to the company, in order to fill the available vacancies", he said, quoted by Angop.

The official also said that, in order to fulfil the agenda, they were given a guided tour by the company's operations director, and visited the control room, and were "surprised by the equipment used here".

"We were pleased and amazed by the working conditions that Macon has available to its employees, as well as the level of internal organisation of the company. We found a company that takes great care of its human capital", he added.

"The assessment we have of this visit is positive, as it was possible to initially secure 100 job vacancies, and CEO Luís Máquina has given us the assurance that we will not stop here, in the near future we will have more job vacancies available to young people", he said, quoted in the CNJ statement.

Macon's CEO said that "the advocacy that the CNJ has been doing to mitigate the problems of young people is healthy". Quoted by Angop, he explained that initially the vacancies are only for drivers, but may expand to other fields depending on the company's demand.
